Who We Are

The Central Florida Commission on Homelessness (“CFCH”) is a partnership of public / private community leaders working to enact the strategies of Ten2End.

What is Ten2end?

Ten2End is a ten year plan to end homelessness in Central Florida in the next decade. The plan outlines steps not to just manage but to permanently end the problem within 10 years. Based on National Models the plan zeros in on the gaps in existing programs and identifies the practical steps necessary to prevent and end homelessness effectively.

CFCH has five Committees:

  1. Housing: Working to provide a range of housing opportunities for those who are homeless or at risk of being so.

  2. Prevention: Identifying critical steps to systematically prevent homelessness.

  3. Healthcare: Strengthening and expanding healthcare services available to homeless persons and those at risk of becoming homeless.

  4. Supportive Services: Creating and strengthening supportive systems, services and structures to meet the needs of the homeless.

  5. Finance Committee: Analyzing currents costs of homelessness recommending opportunities to create new sources of revenue.
